Real Bezos probably would be impressed with their work. We've got some amazing developers here.
We're not denying that in any way.
But, if nostr has the potential to steal market share from Amazon, why would Bezos root for it?

I'm sure they would have realized that and demanded verification like the rest of us after today. It costs them nothing to play along until they gather more information. They aren't dumb, I'm sure they had doubts from the beginning.
If they continue playing along much longer though I might have to start agreeing with you. Bozo said he was working on verification and that should be the end of it since it's impossible.
I'm sure they did. But, much of their interactions seemed like ego and overexcitement to me. That was the vibe I was getting. Just sayin'.

I could partially agree with that. I was just a little worried that whoever was behind all these posts and asking all these questions might be trying to milk information out of everyone for potentially malevolent purposes. It's always a smart move to maintain a good level of skepticism when dealing with potential unknowns.
There are no trade secrets. Asking these types of questions, particularly publicly, is exclusively an exercise, at the very least, in sharpening one’s own thoughts and finding better ways to convey them, regardless of who the recipient might be.
I agree. There are no trade secrets. It is an exercise. But, regardless of who the recipient might be?! I can't agree with that. Why would "jeffbezos" be so special?! The Nostr community has made plenty of development without him! The fact that there are no trade secrets could be used against us! Nostr, in itself, is an experiment. It hasn't been around for a long time. Be VERY cautious about the information you choose to distribute. I know this from experience! You don't know for certain who this "jeffbezos" is. Be careful, man!
