It's not my idea.. People have been asking for it since we started.
People who want this can post it...
You take the best things about Nostr and disregard them... and then want to roll out this which, read the comments, most people do NOT want nor care about. We don't even want an option.
Vitor... take the feedback!
What is cool about Nostr:
-Zaps⚡️
-Good vibes 🫂🤙
-Decentralized aspect obviously
-Growing community of welcoming plebs sharing notes and images --> connection!!!!!
THIS all needs more time to percolate, marinate and grow. Let it be cool for a minute so we can onboard normies!!!!!
But you messed up...
1) you wanted to go at this alone at the expense of photo incompatibility. Vibes brought down. People mad. Community STOPPED growing because "the apps aren't loading photos from amethyst".
2) you aren't focusing on what is FUN and AWESOME about this that could catch contagion and go viral.
The backend fighting and stuff should happen privately. And not at all even.
If you don't listen to and work with others - main people and early users - you will not only be unsuccessful, but will ruin a bit about Nostr in the process.
Go at this alone and you'll fail.
Turn your ship and attitude around, appologize to developers you threw shade at and be humbled.
This does have shades of Bitcoin Cash. Stick to the ideas that are cool and help them grow. Protect them. Be a leader. You need to work with people not against them.
