Got my starter kit for #pickstr but I’m unable to even unlock a single pin setup after 30 minutes of trying 😭

Could be that one pin is close to the shear line already. If 2 or 3 isn't giving you fits, just start there. It's no biggie. Just start feeling for the pin that binds, then lift it in a controlled way. Feel how it moves with more or less tension. Set that one pin and release it a few times.
Thinking I damaged 1st chamber last night with some type of bad setup I fought with. Thanks for types. Will just use 2-6 I guess. And research technique a bit

Definitely doesn’t feel like all 3 pins are clicking with current config. It’s sometimes way too easy to open with what feels like only 1 of the 3 solved. Anyway, will fiddle with it later when home
Dang that shouldn't get damaged that easily. If it's the one from CI, I bet they'll replace it. Your picks should bend or break before the lock does.
Update. I suspect something is wrong with the first chamber. Tough to even get lock to stay shut with only one ping now. Putting one and then two more rows in and doing fine, just can’t tell if all the pins are locking or not

I got the 65 dollar starter kit that was recommended to me, can look up if you care. But I think the practice lock is busted and I'm a lazy, lazy person who doesn't return things so I keep putting off rectifying situation. Likely just order another practice lock as I imagine it's too late or too annoying to exchange now.
I don't plan to get expert at it, just wanna know some basics, and then own the tools jic I decide I wanna break into something down the line. I gather most home locks are child's play
