Npub 🤖 are code and therefore also someone's free speech.
Any npub can write whatever it wants. Even trollbots, scambots, nigbots, reportbots, newsbots, girlsarestupidbots, etc. are free to write.
There is no way to prevent an npub from writing to Nostr, and this is a feature.
THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WON'T REPORT AND MUTE YOUR BOT, IF IT GETS ON MY NERVES.
Maybe I'll even create a bot that just runs in front of your new baby bots and automutes them, so that I never see them, because I think they are as stupid as you are.

You are not being threatened by censorship. You are being threatened by individual npubs finding more efficient ways to mute your sorry ass.

User curation can be an algorithm.
An algorithm is free speech and you can't stop an npub from using an algorithm because Nostr has no method for censoring free speech.
Some folks on Nostr seem to be anti-algorithm, period.
That's not how this works. People need and will use algorithms for any number of things, and Nostr devs are free to provide them.
The difference is the users of Nostr can also choose not to use algorithms.
They're like,
It's okay to mute each npub by hand, maybe, but definitely not to use algos to help you find npubs to mute or filter out.
We're only to mute slowly. Okay.
LOL whatever. We already have the algos and use them. 🤙 Almost nobody on here has an algo-free feed.
