This is profound!!

I read enough to understand some mothers do this to their sons: as a replacement-husband, but I did NOT realize this is what was going on with me and my own mother.

Hmm...

She did always ask me to be her friend and even call her sister when I was a kid.

And I have read that this is pretty common with narcissistic parents.
