So ... I'm torn between adding or leaving out the iconic station indicator on this old radio.
As this is now a guitar amp, indicating AM stations isnt needed... but the pointer is pretty cool.
What do you think?

Can you make it the volume control?
Technically I could, but there are some issues concerning the distance that it turns... before it gets to max, it would hit the knobs on the radio face.
Oh yeah it's got a ~180° sweep for the indicator function. I think it looks too cool to get rid of though. Can you get a smaller sweep knob?
Maybe... but it would some cheap knock off pot. I need an excellent volume control, so this will remain purely for style points. I would also clean it up. Lol.
