Cool idea but honestly, that’s really hard to pull off on Nostr right now!

Zaps don’t arrive cleanly or instantly, profiles load slowly, and there’s no simple “live feed” you can trust on stage.

Nostr favors freedom over polish, so flashy real-time stuff like this is still rough.

I know the next sentence will be triggering but hang on.

I have not had any issue zapping using a custodial wallet. The only time I run into a delay it is due to the individual using their own node.

Francis if you gamify that with a leaderboard you increase the ability to zapvertize. Imagine if nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u who's not at the conference decides to zap his podcast to the top

Zapping people running their own nodes can sometimes fails because their relays or zap receipt isn’t set up correctly.

PubPay Live is exactly that: a leaderboard you can use for zapvertising. Many have figured that out at AdoptingBitcoin 🤲
