First time seeing this bot. I knew DMs were visible by name via public key login of anyone, so this makes sense, but definitely a flaw

This bot, or one like it was around maybe a year ago I think. Some devs moved to gift wrapping DMs (I believe Amethyst and Coracle) but many didn’t. There was talk of adopting Simplex’s protocol for DMs but that never happened either.
Honestly, I think stuff like this is great to push issues that need to be resolved (and a good reminder not to use Nostr DMs for anything serious).
Hmm, but I am on Amethyst, so should that not have appeared? Or was it because maybe whoever messaged me was not themselves on Amethyst or Coracle?
