I wouldn’t be surprised if WoS is in a class of node due to its size that routes enough to be profitable. But they also earn more than just routing fees because they charge swap fees when you send/receive on chain. And because their parent company is a payments service, it could also be that the other services enabled/facilitated by their nodes earn a profit that offsets the cost of the node itself. Just guessing of course.
