It seems very similar to core but more control over what to validate?
Quicker syncs due to blocking a lot of the spam everyone is currently freaking out about, better indexing, more RPC commands. These are just the things I have found and I'm far from an expert. It's largely set and forget too. Swapping over was seamless.
