Woke up early and got ready for a nice walk with my dog.

We step outside, turn the corner… and boom! A hot air balloon floating right overhead.

My dog hates them. Full 180, sprinted straight back home.

Now he’s pacing from window to window, making sure the terrifying sky monster isn’t still out there.

The poor boy was stiff everywhere and shaking, when we got into the house.

When he was a puppy, a hot air balloon landed in a field that we happened to be playing in. It flew right above us and it scared him.

He's been terrified of those things ever since. Wants nothing to do with them.

We're back outside, but he's not sure about coming out in the open.

I find it adorable that he's scared of hot air balloons. I've known many dogs with many fears, but that's a new one. 💜🐕

One tried to land beside us, when we were walking in an empty field. It literally scared him for life.
