Can someone educate me? I am trying to understand why we can’t delete our own post on Nostr. If we see that a post needs to be deleted?

Is there a benefit for things to be permanent for all time?

It's a feature not a bug. It's better to correct than to potentially hide something. It's one of the reasons people are quitting twitter.

Also deletion is hard ₿ecause you would have to tell all relays and they would have to listen & execute
