If you have prediabetes or diabetes, stopping sugar and processed carbs will lower your A1c better than any prescription.

I have a distant family member who was diabetic for years (or at least I know he was on metformin)

I pushed him to go low-carb /keto and he told me he couldn't due to some kidney issues

Then a year or two goes by and he's lost 50 pounds and looks healthier than ever

It turns out his doctors have got him down to one high-carbohydrate meal per week

Excellent news, and surprising that it was because of doctors (most don't prescribe or support anything except meds)

Said it to my mother, said it to my father. It’s easy. You do not eat carbs or at least limit the top3 junks - sweets / vegetables oils / grains and you are FINE! It’s that simple.

Reduced carbs and even don't feel the bloating as well.
