I was yelled at by my IT specialist for doing this with some access point hardware years ago, but sure enough it fixed the problem.
Imagine how many more cartridges they would have sold if people never cleaned the connections. Canned air exists now.

I've been in electronics manufacture, repair/service for 3 decades.
Everyone my generation, does this to every connector during servicing, automatically.
I've worked on 4 continents and all through Asia, there are no exceptions, its universal to a whole generation
That's how powerfully this shaped a generation
