I took a $300 foraging class and it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I’ve foraged what would have cost me thousands at a fancy supermarket

nice. I've always wanted to forage mushrooms. Not that I would eat it based on your assessment via nostr, is a russula an edible mushroom?

Yeah definitely don’t, but yes some russulas are. it’s an advanced foraging mushroom though so yeah start with oysters, lions manes and wood ears

No way to tell, need to see the gills and texture when crumbled. We have the green quilted ones here in SC they’re delicious
