I wonder what Satoshi would think of the seemingly inverse correlation between the HODL strategy and the acceleration of #bitcoin’s velocity.

Does the strategy hinder immediate adoption in quantity but builds a stronger base (quality)? Money is energy and meant to flow and HODLing is hindering the natural flow? Or does it even matter over time and all balances out?
