Thought about this alot recently. The only thing I would miss is the fire service.

Who would be happy spending billions on liabilites just to help others? The fire engines aren’t cheap and neither is maintaining them, and thats not mentioning hydrant infrastructure, comms, breathing apparatus etc.

Maybe communities could chip in to pay a small part of their wealth to fund this… nope that’s tax.

However, if you play with fire I guess you should expect to get burnt.

We could just let the poor and stupid burn, then the wealthy can pay for the service of having their lifes saved as and when required. But I wouldn’t expect a quick response without a credit check or sharing an xpub to prove it can be afforded.

Sorry just thinking out loud. Fuck the government etc x

I don't think fires are a problem anymore, with all the technology and regulations being enforced.

Regulations should become recommendations and people that do not follow them should be shamed publicly for risking others' lives.

Just like with everything else.

Interesting. I like the idea that public shaming could become a way to coerce a based society.

Not sure if it’s a real solution though, it didnt work for Cersei Lannister at least..
