Legal hunting is the only thing protecting them. If they have economic value, the government and landowners have a reason to maintain their population and habitat. Compare any species that is legally hunted in say, elephant in Tanzania, to an African country that has no legal hunting like Kenya. DYOR

I wasn’t arguing, merely trying to share my knowledge on a subject I am quite familiar with (my father was a wildlife biologist for 40 years)

Mainstream media misinformation is what I’m fighting, who malign hunting at every turn, like I said, DYOR

I spent some time in Africa recently and I do my own research by speaking directly with proper conservationists. This is a subject that is close to their hearts and the corruption across Africa re trophy hunting is at a highly disturbing and disgraceful level.
