Why not IPFS for Nostr? When a relay copies a post, they simply need to pin the image, for redundancy. For mobile clients, we can run IPFS-HTTP proxies.

the naming scheme is on the tiny end of the problem vs getting apps and relays to adopt ipfs, and not even certain ipfs is best
