Correct. I randomly got bravecobra6 as my Primal lightning address - works fine. To customize that with my preferred handle I would have to claim it and pay monthly for Primal premium.

I was VERY tempted until I connected Coinos to Damus and everything just fell into place.

All depends how badly you want a custom Primal address?

It felt a little weird to pay for the privilege and prestige of the Primal check mark. A little to X’ish. But it’s good to fund development of a platform we all use, so there’s that - and Primal 2.0 is pretty fraking good!

Yeah - several of the OGs and people Primal want to promote have custom (premium) handles. I tried multiple ways to select my Primal LN address, but kept getting randomly generated ones, then I realized it was a premium thing. It might still by invite only?

I could only ever use my Primal wallet to zap nostriches so that locked me into the Primal app. Then, with the help of some amazing folks here, I stumbled into why Damus on iOS had no zap icon (whole thing). Figured out thru trial and error how to enable the zap icon in Damus, then connected a Coinos wallet via NWC to Damus and was off to the races!
