If i didn't spill so much transferring into the jars probably would have gotten 2 pints of lard.

Much cheaper than olive oil the days.

Do you get the chitlins (crunchy leftovers) making lard? It’s one of the best parts of making tallow.

Not crunchy though. May pan Fry them.

Definitely pan frying them and add a bit of salt at the end. Delicious and nutritious!

They are tasty

We have a pampered chef strainer that fits perfectly on top of the canning jar funnel we have. They stack up nicely and do a good job filtering broth. Something like that might work for you . Might need to go to the store and try out different combinations.

I have one as well...can't find it though.
