Try hydrating before you go to sleep. Ive found even when i burn badly if i drink a bunch of water leading up to when i go to sleep, it wildly decreases the pain and redness.

Since ive started hydrating like that, it seems like i havent had serious discomfort the following day.

The few times ive forgotten to really drink as much as i should, the burn seems to hang around.

I guess i should say i spend most of my days getting at least an hour minimum of sun feeding animals and tending plants.

However i definitely burn when im out fishing all day (which is as frequent as i can manage).

As long as i hydrate enough it just doesnt seem to matter.

I've been increasing my sun exposure, especially towards sunset.

Oh, I'm very well hydrated most of the time.

Due to the way I work, I don't get enough sun most days. (I'm a welder, so, I spend most of my time covered up.)

I got burned exclusively where I wear a shirt, that hasn't seen any sun this year. I should have eased into it. 😅
