There's no way they can actually compensate for how widespread this issue is. It's pretty much in all water on the planet at this point.
I bet the lawyers are happy though. 3M made $14B in profit in 2023 alone, not like it matters much to them.
It’s in your filtered beer (plastic filters)
It’s in your favorite beverage (plastic bottle, tetra-pak, lines soda cans)
It’s in your filtered water system (RO system uses plastic membrane, plastic water lines)
It’s in your food (plastic packaging, bags, liners, irrigation water)
It’s in your swimming hole (run-off, floaters, trash)
It’s in your body (disrupting your endocrine system and coursing through your veins)
