Bitcoin Magazine has been, just as the social layer of normies has been. But we weird logical types, we will not have Bitcoin taken away from us. We choose the rules.
I think driving out the actual cypherpunks and demoralizing is all a part of the plan imo
They cant corrupt it technically (hopefully, so long as we are vigilant), so they need to do it socially
Large swathes of people have become sycophants for Trump, Saylor, Bukele and such, the very people who aren't on our side yet are somehow setting the narrative. Coupled with how core have recently acted, I think the road ahead won't be quite as trouble free as many of us imagine.
There be dragons ahead for sure. I'm not expecting a well-paved road to freedom unless we build it.
