It's easy to say follows don't matter. I usually only notice if I check nostr.band for something, Amethyst's numbers are all over the place. But I can also see how it's nice to know people think you have interesting things to say. That little dopamine boost, "Maybe my posts do matter".

I would actually like to know "follows who have been active in the last 7/30/90 days". Or a visualization of the crossover between who I follow, and who follows me. That would be more interesting than a simple number.

I had noticed this because I’ve been trying different clients on my iPhone versus the desktop browser as various work best on the different OSes. I often encounter “unsynced” followed accounts and re-follow people.
