I like the act of uncorking the bottle with one of these. Uncorking it with an electric one feels gay as hell lol 😂
It’s always helpful to look at the tools professionals use, and you will never see a professional booze-slinger using anything but an old-fashioned corkscrew (I also professionally slang booze for a number of years and speak from both experience as a slinger and as a consumer of booze).

I have trouble wrapping my mind around the concept of anyone using an electric corkscrew. I’ve never seen it done. It’s so lame I have trouble imagining that they are real.

what about an electric pepper grinder? what friction are you removing from the process of using both hand to squeeze a bit of pepper? Only makes sense for folks with some physical limitation, but I have only witnessed common people use it.
