Back on the job, trying to take it slow. Setup and rocking the Occidental Leather Suspenders and so far loving them. Low profile, comfy, supportive, all good things for a young man turning old lol

I was a die hard occi harness guy for years. Amazing quality. I’ve been digging my new atlas apron now though.

I get the apron part, I just ain’t a big fan of cordura for work. I’ve spent plenty of time in it for other shenanigans though lol I’ve also torn up a shitload of it.

I’m finding myself returning to my roots of enjoying the feel and fit of good leather more and more. I won’t be switching to a leather gun holster cause Kydex just makes far more sense, but I’m finding excuses to go thick leather for everything else lol

Yeah I hear ya! I had occi suspenders that for close to 20 years. Still not a damn thing wrong with them.

That’s what made me finally start buying their stuff. All the reviews of their leather are saying 15-20 years as a baseline. Only complaints I ever see is weight. Started with just the 2” belt cause my cheap ones were about to die, got the 5 in 1 hammer loop cause my cheap one died, then got these suspenders last week cause my belt was starting to kill my hips. Plan to replace my other pouches as they die also. The Ox Tools Outback isn’t a bad pouch for the money, but I figure I’ll still kill it pretty quick.

Are they holding up your laderhosen?

That’s one outfit I’ll never forgive my German ancestors for lol

This is my single bag system that i bought to replace the worn out Occidental bags i bought in the 90's. I also have a 2 bag system with suspenders from Occidental for when i need to lug more stuff.

Dude those old bags still look like they got work left in ‘em! Do you clean and condition yours or you just let ‘em do what they do?
