Is BSV still a thing? Somebody tried to convince me that there is no need for Lightning and ecash if you switch to BSV.
BSV is CW’s thing and a whole load of hogwash as far as I am concerned.
Asking for a friend.

Not sure when was the last time I heard something about Craig or Calvin. BSV biggest attack was making arguments in the big blocker camp that made later BCH seem like they wanted infinite blocks aswell as making BTC reject Adam Back's 2 - 4 - 8 blocksize increase proposal that would have unified the whole Bitcoin community back then.
Also interesting to note that BCH forked over SegWit because "big blockers" thought of it as an ugly hack that could get exploited also making considerate blocksize increases more difficult if not impossible in the future, because easiness to "spam" vs monetary transactions would increase accordingly.
I’ll need to re-read Blocksize Wars. FWIW, I see that the world has settled on BTC, like IPV4. That’s what we got to work with.
I find this especially interesting as this sums up Core vs Knots pretty well again.
If for a moment you consider that BTC/BCH split was over SegWit and not formerly over blocksize one needs to question if a compromise of Bitcoin Core dates back far longer than assumed by many.
Hi sorry to bother you guys!! We just needed a little boost for our Geyser. it’s for my son 🙏🏻 thanks !!
It's not a thing. It's not open source, it's practically impossible to run a node, it doesn't trade anywhere, and the centralized organization behind it has changed the protocol to let them confiscate anyone's coins. In recent days the price has hit new all time lows.
Tell your friend to forget about it.
