We funded it as Twitter. It’s not my app, or ideally anyone’s. It’s a small team building a protocol. The current app is a proof of concept and reference for what can be built. The public benefit LLC has a board, which I’m on. It’s the main thrust building the protocol.

A different development model than nostr, which is much more decentralized and bottoms up. There will be a lot more bottoms up on Bluesky as more developers use the various APIs, but started completely differently. I think it’s generally good to explore different models.
