Yes, they are great. Sort of potato like with a little brussel sprout/brassica flavour

I will have to try that. I planted radishes again mostly because I wanted their tops but haven’t quite figured what makes a radish good yet. Does the roasting mellow them?

Yes it does. Cut them in half, toss with your fat and seasoning of choice and roast at 425 until brown.
