I used to watch every video that Matthew put out. But honestly until the knots / core debate isn’t front and center of every video, I going to take a break. I’m not in the knots camp and I don’t feel like the arguments against core are being made in good faith. I’ll be back again eventually.

He's not making his arguments in good faith especially the accusations against core. Even if he gives up his obsessive push for knots I don't think he is to be trusted going forward. I think he'd be quite content in watching a split among bitcoiners.
I’ll got back to watching eventually. But I think that it’s important to have a critical eye towards everyone’s content, especially if they are telling you exactly what you want to hear. But I’m not going to go as far as saying that he wants a split in the bitcoin community.
Excuse the guy for speaking up about an existential threat for the very thing he's using to save for his future and the future of his family. Pay attention, this op_limit issue can make it too expensive for normal people to run nodes. Without these nodes bitcoin is no longer decentralized, and it can be co-opted to become a proof of stake network - change the code - that no longer serves you and protect your purchasing power.
If bitcoin can be killed by a mempool policy change — not even a consensus level change — then it was never going to succeed long term. I want bitcoin to succeed. I don’t think this change is nearly as big a deal as it’s been made out to be. I’m just tired of all the hyperbolic language around it.
