It isn't enough for KYC so what is it for?

It says it won't be shared publicly, but who is it shared with and how is it stored?

I think you can use NWC on the Web and Android, but not on iOS… they could do something like nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s as a “hidden” feature where you can pair it on web and it would use it on iOS. But not sure.
