Excellent! 👏
Imagine having a wise person like this to guide your inner work
I was thinking this 😭💯
I’ve had great teachers and mentors over the years in friends and old bosses and am grateful for that, but the way Rilke writes… the effect is magic.
So far most of my mentors and role models were found in books. It’s weird, there is a lot of knowledge but little wisdom.
Same with a few hugely meaningful exceptions.
It’s about 60/40 for me. Learned so much from people that cross my life, but books and movies still win out with the most lessons at the moment. I think this will change when I travel more ❤️🔥.
I’ve put in an order with the universe for a mentor in the next 5-6 working days. Someone non scary and non smoker 🙏🏽
I didn’t know you wanted to travel. Where do you wanna go?
I doo 😍 ah man, so many places. Everywhere. Quite a few places in Italy, France, Sri Lanka, USA, China, Japan, Nigeria, Iceland, Canada, the rest of the UK
Anywhere you want to go?
I would love to see Italy and Japan. Portugal, Spain, and Argentina look amazing. The videos of the nature in Switzerland are gorgeous too. I’m also interested in some of the more lowkey places like Malaysia 😍
❤️🔥
Ooo I think the next nostr conference is in Argentina
Switzerland is beautiful - never been, just seen pictures from friends and my cousin. Also the best chocolate 🔥
Ah man Malaysia would be cool.
And Swiss cheese 😉
Does a British passport let you travel to pretty much anywhere you want like a US passport does?
Yesss - but not before bed, cos cheese really does give you nightmares before bed
It’s pretty decent, I thinnnk

Add Eritrea to my list ❤️🔥 my godmothers Eritrean. Love Injera and want to get my own Zuria (I think that’s what they’re called) to wear to my god cousins wedding.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I like the idea of living in a different country every few years, I know it sounds crazy and there’s probably a million big and small details that would make it impossible, but I love that Vanessa and Will bring their son when they travel - travelling is such a beautiful way of teaching your kid about the world, all types of people, countries and how they operate. Way more interesting than sitting in a classroom looking at pictures of the world on a board during history and geography. Julian Green has taught me that before you can truly know a city you must get bored in it.
I had to look up what a zuria is. Looks nice, are you Muslim?
Portugal is on that list, maybe we’ll run into each other in Lisbon 👀
Idk exactly where I’d want to live but somewhere by a beach. I’ve seen little huts built over the water on the beaches at the Maldives so I guess that’s one place. They bring food out to you on a canoe it’s amazing 💜
My plan is to travel all over and hopefully travel with a family. I don’t want to stay in one place for the long term.
It might take a while to get bored of some of these places so I might leave before then 😂
Nah I’m not Muslim, I grew up Christian but I’ve always been more spiritual - leaning towards Buddhism and Hinduism these days but I’ll figure it out
My godmother and her family wear zurias to weddings and family events - she’s Eritrean Orthodox Christian (I thiiiiink), I think it’s more of a traditional cultural thing than a religious thing 🫂
Heyy that would be cool! Lisbon looks beautiful. Me too! I wanna live near water.
I’m planning to visit the Maldives when I visit Sri Lanka cos it’s only an hour away (if I remember correctly). A friend I made in Sri Lanka when I was a teen moved to the Maldives to work, would be lovely to see her again. Maldives is definitely high on my list ❤️🔥
Me too! I genuinely thought you were gonna tell me this was a stupid idea 😭🫂
That’s a good point, I’m still not bored of London 😂🙏🏽 but I have been bored in London - mostly in secondary school, but still. Maybe sitting in one spot and doing nothing for long enough will inspire it - or you’ll feel really peaceful 😂
My friend believes in reincarnation. That seems more rational than a concept of heaven or hell, although I don’t really buy in to any of that 😅
I think with Bitcoin, this traveling lifestyle is better than staying in a place like the US or UK. Two years ago I wrote about how renting is better than buying a home because you can buy more Bitcoin. If you’re going to rent, you might as well do it while you travel. And a lot of beautiful places are cheaper to live in than the US or UK so more sats. It’s a win win, you escape the rat race while exploring the world.
What is secondary school?
You should stay in one of these when you go to the Maldives :)

Perhaps good advice, but a bit brutal and unfair to the solicitor. To begin with the claim that criticism is a futile endeavor and yet judge the work and artist's character so hashly? To condemn the nec. act of shopping one's work as a sign of inferior spirit? The pettiness of returning the pages themselves like unwanted litter.
