Mental health is not only related to the culture we currently live in, but also to the attachment one had or didn't have as a child. Studies show significant relationship between these two measures.

With a Western culture that is promoting the child care starting from six to twelve months, it's no surprise that many haven't been able to develop the maturity that is required to survive in our complex world.

Of course many more factors play a role in the mental health equation, but early attachment for sure is something that many oversee or don't want to recognize...
