I think the western world is reaching an inflection point within next 1-2 epochs, 5-10 years- which will decide if the recovery starts now, or they face another full turning (80 years) of failing socialist totalitarianism.
Bitcoin fixes things for the people who know how to use it, but we might be facing a longer survival/remnant period.

While it's necessary in a lot of cases you are responsible for your own thoughts. Sometimes people get in bad thought cycles and meds can help them guide themselves out. They are not for the long term.

Weights and cardio has always been the solution for me. Not wearing myself out during the day makes me sleep bad. Bad sleep precludes mental health issues.

As someone who had a mental breakdown last year I can say that it’s definitely a problem with current working culture.

Mental health is not only related to the culture we currently live in, but also to the attachment one had or didn't have as a child. Studies show significant relationship between these two measures.
With a Western culture that is promoting the child care starting from six to twelve months, it's no surprise that many haven't been able to develop the maturity that is required to survive in our complex world.
Of course many more factors play a role in the mental health equation, but early attachment for sure is something that many oversee or don't want to recognize...
There are fewer and fewer of us working harder and harder for less and less.

Western culture at large has unmoored itself from traditional sources of meaning, i.e., religion, family, children, and community. We're all isolated individuals depending on the state to make our individualism possible. No wonder everyone is mentally ill.
I think people need to reconnect with nature.
Yes. Gonna take lots more than that though - they gotta stop unnecessarily taking so many nasty & dangerous gubbermint dr approved drugs. And stop eating all the garbage food & fake food substitutes, etc. No unnecessary vaccines either. Especially the dangerous experimental ones that have & still are being given out to combat a common cold virus that is a big nuthinberger to most of us. IOW give/target vaccines to only those populations that might need it. Although, I gotta admit that I am now so turned off by the scamdemic that they pulled that I will never trust or take another vaccine.
As a practicing clinician I can tell you things are absolutely worsening. Broken $ is one of the factors at the heart of it IMO.
It feels like it’s slowly getting worse and normalish people have been sliding toward crazy.
Also a lot of the mental illnesses out there are being celebrated so there’s less incentive to be normal.
