I think the only option is to create a new account and post your new npub for people to follow on your old account so ppl know where to find you.

Nah honestly I second guessed myself thinking I must have copied and pasted the wrong one. Tripped right out .

😂 I had no idea why else that would show up as it looks like I wrote it. But spoke to #[4]​ and #[2]​ and confirmed it’s cuz #[2]​ was on #amethyst .

Ok i think i know whats happening here, this is damus seeing a public reply to a DM event, and then there is a bug that puts this DM into your DMs even though its not to you. Will fix.
