I read somewhere that Tarsus (where Jonah was running to) was in fact England (tin isle). Which makes sense if he was trying to get away from God.

I've always thought he was referring to his own death and resurrection, but maybe I missed something.

And, yes, for me it's the anti-theistic Ts and Qs that are explicitly and unashamedly "coming for our kids." I'm more prone to turn to certain PPsalms. I suppose on a case by case sometimes the one is appropriate and sometimes the other.
