Just remembered I have one of those old Asus Nexus 7 second gen tablets with a full Nethunter (Kali) ROM on it. I should probably update it and fuck with it a bit.

Might do a blog post on hacking some devices from a smartphone or tablet to demonstrate just how insecure the "internet of things" and indeed unpatched OSes and firmwares in general are.

Obviously I'm talking white hat here, gonna do this with my own devices on my LAN, but it'll still make the point very clearly.
