I personally mix in my own spice blend, which basically creates a chai version. I notice some cognitive effects from it that keep me super grounded through out the day.

I've been blending an unaged pure leaf product from Brazil with a roasted one recently. The pure leaf was too herbal tasting for me, but adding the roasted one makes it real nice. Sometimes I'll mix in Tara Gui with it.
I also enjoy adding some cocoa powder sometimes. And in February I'll sometimes buy a few pomelos, hollow them out and prepare the mate inside.
