Found these guys popping underneath a seaberry bush, also pictured: apple, pear, tomatillo, yarrow, coreopsis, walking onions, garlic chives, and rhubarb. Food forests are fun.

Thanks, I'm tending and modifying the orchard and garden at my in-laws place. Someday I'll take what I've learned, and a crap ton of plant material, and have a space of my own like this.
