In all the conferences I've been to the speakers were interesting to listen to. They didn't need clownery and daft dad dances on stage to amuse people. They managed that with out making fools of themselves.
Gimmicks cover up a lack of content.
I thought the same when them asshats were dancing around dressed in those wizard clothes promoting ordinals.
