The US has done this for a long time to EU citizens
Facial recognition at the EU border has been there for a long time including EU passport holders
it’s going to become an ID though which will link to your credit score etc
If they're collecting that data already from EU citizens when applying for new ID documents I don't see why they wouldn't collect the same data from people travelling. We're all being criminalised without committing any crimes.
