Brushing up on my notes here, it looks like the El Salvadoran Supreme Court ruled in 2021 that the previous reading of the constitution of El Salvador, that the president cannot seek reelection, was not true. Instead that the president is able to run for reelection once.

Of course, some people disagree with the Supreme Court on whether one time reelection should be seen as constitutional or not.

Yeah there shouldn't be a limit - it makes no sense and leads to people who are unfit as the fit are forced to resign essentially.
