I'm having arthritis symptoms in the fingers I use to click around on my MacBook all day. So I bought an EMF meter just to check if it could be that, since I'd feel a tintling in my fingers sometimes when plugged.

But f*ck, didn't expect it to be this insanely high.

I then checked if there something wrong with the grounding of the adapter. And there is, it doesn't let current through.

But it can't be just that right?

Damn we need to test more of our devices more regularly

Sorry to hear that. Maybe this is a dumb question, but do you exercise or do any healthy activity?

Yes absolutely, that's why I thought of emf because I kinda eliminated most other possible causes.

I hope it's not that. You should visit a doctor for a complete physical exam.

grounding / earthing + metal contact

I heard nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy on a podcast. His guest said two duck eggs a day took the arthritis away. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ could be worth a shot

Hehe, I almost started a pastured ducks enterprise because of their superior eggs (and lack of them around here).

Try turning off the NFC in your phone.

https://palomar-engineers.com and a portable TinySA spectrum analyzer (Amazon $60) will help you find emission sources, identify their frequency, and kill them. You must choose the right ferrite material for the frequency. Many meters don't even measure in the range of a lot of common emissions.

If magnetic fields are a concern, use efficient devices that move less current through wires, and never coil them.

Ham radio operators, other than intentionally blasting ourselves with RF, tend to have very low EMI around the house. I'm not an RF engineer, but I am an accomplished EMI-killer.

This will go over many peoples head. Most aren't ready to admit radiation from phones and laptops is harmful.

It is very harmful.
