Scanning a private key QR code into Sparrow on a laptop webcam is similar to inputting the seed words, no?

Because to make a transaction you need to confirm on the seedsigner

You are just using sparrow for the interface

It is the exact same thing. As soon as you importeither a seed QR, or the words into sparrow, it’s no longer cold storage, it’s a hot wallet.

Damn I fucked up then lol. I already stamped those words into steel and everything.

I thought that was the only way to send a transaction with SeedSigner

Better to learn this now rather than later. 🤪

Back to the drawing board! The most annoying part was engraving in steel.

I tried to hammer with a stamp but didn’t realize how fucking hard you gotta hit. I barely made a dent lol.
