New generation seems to look old quicker, because of obvious, yet maybe surprising reasons.

1) staring into blue light monitor inside or a phone outside ruins your posture (and eyes etc), gravity pulls your face in slightly different and same angle all the time and you don't stretch your neck skin and muscles at all

2) not enough sunlight that actually hits your face, you don't look around or up anymore

3) posture is so bad you'll develop a bump behind your neck 20 years sooner, kids in school with heads down and curled like lizards ARE DOOMED DOOMED DOOMED

4) sugar causes aging of skin, check any dermatologist on YouTube. What else does it ruin? Well, everything. Obesity ruins everything too. Duh.

5) I'm not writing next ton of reasons about modern economy, grind, medicaments, sleep etc.. Just a few from a masseuse.

Get the fuck out, stand up straight and show your face to the sun!

So, it’s fair to say that a lot of their issues stem from mobile technology and I would have to agree.

I won’t sit here and say that I wouldn’t have liked to have this tech back in the 80’s, but at the same time, I am grateful that we didn’t.

I was just scrolling through fb at all the Father's Day posts from my peers (26-28 y/o) with kids. Vast majority of them look shockingly middle-aged already

Yes. And wait for their kids. The system is eating its own children alive.

Great points.

I also think they are replicating the looks/aesthetics they see on social media and tv shows. They believe that’s what they are supposed to look like and it’s either unattainable (filters) or someone in their 30s. So they age themselves and think it looks good. For example, lots of 20 year olds getting duped by “preventative” Botox and fillers.

Really? I see this at children, like 11yo girls trying hard to look 25. But sure, influencers brainwashing works on all ages and in many directions. It was always here, but socmedia and screens 18 hours a day nourish the whole thing.

I live in a very plastic surgery heavy area. It’s rough it see. Instinctually we as human beings can tell when we’re looking at something unnatural in a face. At least if you’re thinking about young women, I bet that’s what you’re seeing. But young men do it too.

I think Botox and fillers age the face. Especially young people who are not paying top dollar for it. Their injectors are probably cheap and inexperienced.
