Broadly speaking, there are 3 possible paths forward wrt Israel-Palestine:

1. One-state solution

2. Two-state solution

3. No-state solution

The ideal version of option 1 would be a neutral, benevolent ruler. This worked well enough under Roman, Ottoman, and British control of the region, but feels unrealistic in the year 2023, as Britain and the US and other countries no longer have the moral authority, power, or competence necessary for this. Not to mention the fact that neither Israel nor Palestine would readily give up their national sovereignty.

The more realistic version of option 1 is Israel continuing to rule over a single apartheid state, which clearly has not been working too well.

Option 2 is the most realistic, favorable option at present. Let Palestinians rule over themselves. Let Israelis rule over themselves. However, this option has been on the table for decades, and the devil is in the details (ie. Who gets what?)

Option 3 is the dissolution of statehood altogether via #Bitcoin and the rise of the sovereign individual. This option seems entirely unworkable and unrealistic, but is more feasible now than it has been at any time in the past.

Which is the right way forward?

#3 is a potential outcome given many islam countries have nuclear weapons. Iran is a red herring.

All parties seem quite resolute, well-funded and dedicated to annihilating one another. Perhaps the best thing to do is watch in a detached, anthropological way.

no, really, the less i hear about it the better. i'm using these posts to find more people to block so i don't have to see them later.

If two state solution is overly optimistic, option 3 is a daydream - even if a beautiful one.

Any solution that establishes a free market on land would produce peace (even if it wasn't retroactive)

A two state is not a solution with a socialist regime ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ that prohibits a free market on land, the ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ gov owns it all, and grants it to whoever it wants (99 years entitlements and such)

It's either 1 (for both ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ& ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ) or no

One state. Leave if you donโ€™t like it.

I'll always prefer the Bitcoin solution, but I have biases.
