You mean cheaper?

Same thing, a different transportation cost.

Thanks Bezos

Perhaps thats cheaper from the main distributor. But once it is in the retail its is already expensive.

I don’t think a round trip would be cheaper, especially not now with all the tension going on in that region.

As mentions, lies are terminal right now.

🤷🏻‍♂️

the quality is 100% different from anywhere else too. i’ve bough afghan saffron before and it’s not the same at all.

I don’t know the difference. I buy mine at the local turk grocery store, and happy if there is any at all.

If the choice is to go to mcdonalds while waiting for a revolution not to get hanged for you know, being what they hang, and this only an observation, i’d choose cheap saffron over the noose anyday.

Iranian saffron is good.

Couldn’t tell the difference

You know that even that fine iranian saffron is usually imported from Kashmir or Afghani, right?

but it’s not at all? you can literally go to the saffron farms when they harvest it, and buy it directly. you’re spreading misinformation and frankly that saffron looks like ass bro.

In such cases, why not grow your own if being such a connoisseur?!

Then again, a good excuse to visit the old country, have fun. Also, you must be very good at cooking to have such good understanding about the saffron quality, and how the packaging is telling of the taste.

Good on you.
