Zapplepay.com is a good way to zap when it is not available in your client.

But be aware, you need to give away your Nostr wallet connect string which is essential. This string should NOT be given away without concerns. If you want to try it out make a burner account and connect alby to your npub of choice. And then you can make paste it on zapplepay.

Not to be trashing the work of the people behind zapplepay; in fact ITS AMAZING but I’m not willing to give this info without concerns, as you should.

If you connect an Alby Account you can set a budget and time restriction: https://nwc.getalby.com/ . Have you tried it out?

I'm using Android so don't need the workaround, just passing the warning to others, but this makes a big difference and should be included in all the guides 👌

When I try to save the settings it gives me the “Error: Failed to fetch” I’ve done it a bunch of times, I dunno if that’s the reason why. This time I added the “+” between the Nostr and the wallet words :(

I think this works as proof that is not possible to censor zapping! But I would not recommend it either as a real replacement :)
