Need to sort my home network... Can't stop looking at the unifi Dream Router.

Looks shiny with a nice UI...

This a bad idea if your privacy conscious? I dont know what I'm doing worried OpenSense will baffle my head and I'll leave my network vulnerable. Also don't know what hardware is best for OpenSense?

Just need to set up two networks, one via a VPN and both have fast WiFi with option for wired for both.
